NOTICE OF PERMANENT CLOSURE

Last day of trading Saturday 2nd August 2025 till noon

As the owners of Beenleigh Butchery, Beenleigh Bacon & Ham for the past 19 years, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our many fantastic retail and wholesale customers who we have had the pleasure of serving.

Over the years, we have proudly served customers and wholesalers from the Whitsundays in the north to Springsure and Roma in the west along with our many local retail customers, butchers, pubs n clubs, schools and sporting teams.  To you, we say thank you for your loyal custom and support, it has been a privilege!

As some of you may already be aware, in July 2024 the Department of Transport and Main Roads issued a Notice of Intention to resume the premises, 60A George Street BEENLEIGH, where we operate our businesses Beenleigh Butchery and Beenleigh Bacon & Ham. The purpose of this resumption is for the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project.

In June 2025 we received the Taking of Land Notice, which states we need to vacate the premises.

Due to the lack of suitable premise availability and with the short timeframe, after much consideration and deliberation, we have decided to take this opportunity to not relocate.

After proudly being recognized with countless awards for our quality products, we are ready to step back, recharge and reflect on what lies ahead for us.
